you might have to be mean. like when you said no make sure you are loud & strict in your voice. make sure it has power behind it & try putting him in "time out" my son is 6 months old & when he gets mad he tries to throw himself backwards which could hurt him so i tell him no & put him in his crib. after a few minutes or until he's done complaining i go get him & he has calmed down. it has helped he doesn't do it was much as before. it's a slow process but it's working for me.

I use my 'mom voice' but he just thinks it's funny. I had to put him in his crib yesterday as a time out because he was throwing a huge fit. That was the first time I've done that but I think I will start doing that more often. Should I wait until he stops crying or Is there a certain time he should stay there? @verobaby

I usually wait til my son calms down. but my son used to laugh to when i yelled at him until i started to get a real mad/ serious face & now he gets serious when he knows he did something wrong.

Put him down and walk away. He'll get over it. Not. Acceptable.

Ignorw the behavior. It's a stage theygo through. If you ignore it, he'll stop sooner or later. By telling im no or whatever and he laughs, you're just making him think it's funny. Like when a kid cusses and you laugh so they do it again.
