Is it safe to get fillings done while pregnant? Have any of you?

Thanks @scidg3 I guess I'll see tomorrow. Of course I'll choose whatever has the best interest of my little one.

it just depends how bad......if you need of xrays that would come into play of what trimester.....of course they would rather wait til you aren't preggo...but if it's bad enough they aren't going to leave you in all kinds of pain. it's actually recommend that you see a dentist while you are pregnant because you are more prone to dental problems. good luck @mrslaflare

@babymay2016, @scidg3 yea I don't need gas but I do need the numbing. I will call in the morning before my appointment because I just set back and thought about that. I start my 3rd trimester on Saturday

Depends.....I think they can numb your mouth but I wouldn't do the gas.

I waited too long and now I have to wait until after I give birth to get work done. They would only do it in the second trimester.

They will do that but I believe only in the 2nd trimester. I would call your dentist ASAP! Also have your doctor make you a list of what is and is not okay to use.

Im going tomorrow I'm 17 weeks hopefully they pull this damn tooth
