They offer different services and medicaid covers the baby for at least a month after and then you can apply for her medicaid. Look into all the sources you can. Help is out there. Just pray and give all your worries to God. Sometimes you have to let him do the work for you too.

Medicaid won't pay for me to have her if I have a job though. I'm not worried about her medical stuff after birth. I'm worried about paying 10 grand at least to get her out of me... @lashellg

Medicaid should. we had income and Medicaid paid for my daughter and is paying for this pregnancy and baby as well. do they know you don't have insurance through your job? heck fib a little and tell them you can't get it. non eligible or by the time you pay your premium you would be broke. we had to fib for me to get it and I wasn't working my husband was.

@irishtwinmom13, medicaid here is for unemployed people. if I get a job at all, my eligibility is screwed... at least that's what I was told time and time again

That's what I was thinking emergency medicaid. Thats crazy you have to be unemployed where you are to get it. I was making almost $15 an hr and getting it last time I had it.
