So guy made a comment under his breath to his buddy while passing me in Target, while looking at bathing suits and said "that bitch is in the wrong section, doesn't she know the plus sizes are in the back of the store so people cant see their fat asses trying to be cute."
I turn around acted like i didn't hear him and "accidentally" ran into him. He saw my prego belly and his face went white. "Oh I'm sorry i didn't see you, are you ok?"
Assuming he means did he hurt my belly. I said
"Oh its ok very sorry I'm not as stable as i used to be. Since Ive been pregnant its harder for my fat ass to move around assholes like you in time to get out of your ways" ...He then said to me "Ma'am I'm very sorry, i do hope you can forgive me, i didn't realize you were expecting. And you have a beautiful little belly. But i have to admit i just made a shity comment about you without even knowing you were expecting."
I so acted confused. And he said "it a great thing to bare a baby, i do hope your baby is ok and good luck."
Men and Woman need to know even if i wasn't expecting it is never ok to body shame. If a girl regardless of size wants to wear a bikini that is her right. I have never been more than a "twig", "skin and bones" or a "runt" my entire life. The most I've weighed is with my pregnancy at 125lbs. I used to be body shamed for being skinny, now being body shamed cause im bigger is ridiculous! No one is ever happy with how I look and thats ok cause i like myself the way I am. Dont let anyone else make you feel bad cause you dont have the "perfect little belly" or cause you "don't really look like you're expecting"
Just remember you have a blessing and embrace it. Stop thinking negative and start loving. 🖕🏻✊🏻💁❤️
@mrsjaywills, well id like to see a "man" hit a pregnant woman in open public.. That would be interesting. But i dont see any other way it would have gone differently other than him being a douche and telling me to fuck off.
