@klove23, yes it's a fall hazard and it can mess up the clip that clicks into the car seat bass . However my parents did it with me and I did / do it with my kids . And they are all fine .If you are careful and don't leave your kids unattended there is no fall over risk. Why would a parent leave their kid unattended in the first place . For the clip messing up and not being able to lock into the car seat base right . I know most car seats including mine don't NEED the base so if it did get messed up it could still be functional. I think they try to scare parents into thinking they need to spend money on a stroller . Most companies that sell car seat also sell strollers go figure .....

@klove23, also my clip has not been messed up from doing it and I've used my car seat for 3 different kids .
