bipolar.....okay so my MIL has been diagnosed with this terrible disorder or whatever you want to call it. she's very server she's either down for 8 months in her bed crying or up high as heck doing everything and anything which is the mania stage. I need help on what is best for her to take to control it she's been to so many doctors and non are helping. anyone know of anyone....maybe the meds their on that helps. my poor father in law has put her in the loony bin for wondering off to giant eagle in the middle of night with no shoes on. he is so over whelmed with her. their both in there 60's....please does anyone have a clue on this.
@angylynn22, she does take her meds. she's been in the mental unit numerous times. the Dr can't ever get her meds right
& she has to be compliant with actually taking meds consistently. ....
bipolar disorder is depressive-manic disorder. meaning periods of major depressive episodes and periods of manic episodes. thats what it sounds like to me (im not a doctor)....but if he's placed her in a mental health unit they should get her started on a regimen of meds and do some teaching to your father in law, they just both have to be willing and receptive
Because bipolar is when you have a mood disorder and you get angry really really sat for the smallest reasons and have moods for days on end
all the doctors are calling it bipolar. like I'll post our conversation from today....my father in law told me not to make plans with her because he's worried....well IDK if she is confused or what.
This doesn't sound like bipolar this sounds like alzhiemers or something those are some crazy symptoms. If nothing's working you might just have to let it take its course 😥
So I found out my friend has herpes. She's known awhile and she's been around my baby since birth. Herpes is fatal to infants. How would you have reacted?
Has anyone tried evening primrose oil to start soften they cervix ? My sister did it and she had her baby this morning at 39 weeks
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
@mbab, oh yea that sucks. its not an exact science, but hopefully they find something soon that works better for her
