@babyt16 @jaydansmommy2016 I was dilated at 36 weeks to 2 cm with my son and stayed like that til I went I to labor at 39w 5d and I was 1 cm and my daughter came at 38w 1d. Everyone's body is different. I lost pieces of my mucus plug starting at 25 weeks with my second pregnancy and didn't lose any until I lost the whole thing with my first pregnancy. Once I lost it completely though (blood and all in the plug) I had my children within 24hrs.

I've heard (of course I'm a ftm so idk) that some people start dilating early but baby can still take forever to come. so maybe you have another few weeks? I'm at a 1 and have been for the past week. Wish you the best though!

I just got out of the hospital this morning and they said I was dilated to a 1.5 do I guess I'm just ready to have my baby here but I want him to stay in a couple more weeks. thanks girls @karnamarie @babyt16

i lost mine in little pieces and had my baby 5 days later. just take it easy so baby can keep growing

It's a piece of it, I've been losing pieces like that for about a week or two now. it should regenerate like @karnamarie said if there isn't any signs of blood (old or new) but if you are worried then go to hospital and or call dr. it never hurts to go if you can just to be sure.

it will grow back at 34 weeks? and I guess I'm just paranoid cause I've been in and out of the hospital through this whole pregnancy@karnamarie

yes, it's your mucus plug. I don't see any blood or after stuff so it'll grow back. You'll be noticing lots of that the later in the pregnancy it gets

ok, but as long as it's white or yellowish and doesn't have any blood or brown stuff in it it'll grow back

Does it look the snot you blow out of your nose? Is there any blood or brown stuff mixed with it?
