Help please! Tonight or tomorrow morning I will be induced. I need to know if giving my daughter her father's last name will affect me receiving family's first, which is child support her father has to pay back to the government if he doesn't pay. I want to give her his last name, but my parents want me to give her mine, afraid I won't get family's first.
My boyfriend is so upset that I didn’t give our son his last name but I have 4 other kids that has my last name I didn’t want to make him the only one with a different last name. Is that selfish of me? Or should he just understand. We not married
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name

Yea that happens u have to file and set up court dates, seriously it's a hassle... but if he don't even bother, I wouldn't even worry either...and same here that's why when you bd stopped working I didn't care, I was taking care of my kids before all that bs

a couple years ago i filed paper work against him 2 times they really just brushed it off i dont worry about it now. i make more than enough to support us and he has never been in her life i asked him to terminate his rights he wont @drodrigo239

Yea,, my kids have there dads last name.. the name don't matter.
there is Consequences if he don't pay, ijs like tax time, and rights to the child. and if he hasn't gone to jail it's seriously becuz the other parent isn't really doing anything about it, u could call and then c.s. would do more work if u start calling and complaining about it then they'll do warrants after attempting to give him a chance to pay..
my kids dad didn't work for 2.5 years I never called I (could) have just didn't, but when he did get a job and they started taking child support,,and at tax time they Intercepted it.

it never bother me she had a different name til now. im happily with someone and having a baby with him. he loves her as his own and i jst hate shell have a different name than everyone else

my daughter has her dads name. he is suppose to pay never has she is 6 he is not in her life and has never paid nor gone to jail for not paying.

if he has a job, it's not his call, they will go through court and contact his job.. and automatically take it out of his checks. that's what they do for my 3 older ones
