OK so I work a minimum wage job that has no maternity program. when it's time to leave to have my baby I will be on my own to pay all of our bills. keep in mind that my three youngest are 4,3,2 and I provide for them. A co-worker asked me whyni didn't do a gofundme account to help with the two months ID be off. but I find that alittle weird and I feel like you get looked down on for asking for help. this was not a planned pregnancy but we treat our daughter like a gift from God. what are yalls opinion on things like that?

I don't plan to make one. I wanted to see opinions of others. I did see a few of them and apparently they did a thing on a show on Hallmark about a woman who did it too. she got a lot of criticism

I've never seen gofundme accounts for maternity leave expenses. I've always seen it for medical conditions. Personally I wouldn't do it @jnh199243

@pure_imagination, yea see that was my thought when the coworker brought it up but there's actually a lot of women who use it to get help for maternity leave and expenses. I feel like it would be weird and akward lol. it was weird for her to bring it up to me lol

Errrr I dont know about a gofundme account for that. I know a lot of people who do that get a lot of negative upset simply because the site is meant more for fundraising for an organization or for those with terminal illness. I would talk to WIC or Job and Family Services and see if they can help during that short time and give you options of who can help you. Hope this helps out just a little
