What did the start of labor feel like to you other mommies is it something special u should look for other than mucus plug and water breaking cause honestly I don't think my water is going to break ..... I've been filling like I'm about to start my period

Water... When did anyone's water break? Usually before or right away with labor? I'm so scared my water will break at work or something.
Ok maybe this is a dumb question and should have asked my ob but I feel like she rushed through my appt and forgot to ask but once or if my water breaks do contraction start? Once water breaks do I have to go to the hospital right away?

For mothers: that had there water break before labor? How does it feel? They keep asking me if I feel like my water broke. My water didn’t break on its own with my first pregnancy & my bottom half was numb when they broke my water so I didn’t feel it
