has anyone been to a baby shower here in uk/Scotland?? I'm going to one tomorrow and don't know what to expect really. heard there will he games and loads food so that's a bonus. but don't really know what to take her?I got a memory book for her wee boy she is having in 16 week's that you can fill all the mice details like what did mummy and daddy think you would be and scan pix etc,hope she likes it. nervous as won't know anyone eeeeeeek

I'm sure you'll be fine there if you make friends easily. Haha I'd hold off on the gift giving then until you can see if others have gifts lol.
@sweetsesame, awww good I was told by my friend that there will be food and drinks etc think mocktails and games. I got her what I could I suppose,plus she told me not to get anything for her but got it before she told me so hope not the only one giving her a gift as they other girls might be embarrassed hehe. never met any of these girls that are coming so hoping I meet some new friend's :-) I want one to and don't known when your right at getting it at 30 week's gets it all sorted and no worrying have you got everything :-/ I'm defiantly looking forward to it tomorrow. just worried as don't know anyone but I'm good at making new friend's so should be fun xx
My aunt had one at 34 weeks, there was loads of food, juice etc and gifts ranged from clothing items to nappy changing bits. The biggest item was a high chair and baby bath. It all depends on your budget but her friend who organised her shower asked her for a list of items she hadn't bought yet and everyone chose from that. I'd like to have one around 30 weeks just cos I'm paranoid about having everything sorted for when baby arrives (especially if he/she is early) the best part of the shower is everyone coming together x
awww that's lush, I want one but don't know what stage of my pregnancy to have it. don't know a lot of folk where I am due to moving fair bit away from my home town so be nice to meet new mums and have one. hope she likes the gift then. thanks for replying. will get more nappies on my list for stuff then,having to buy for me and her hehe
awwwww well my family are doing me one next month any thing is appreciated nappies wipes ect trust me mothers can never have enough of them
