I was all for one myself until our teacher mentioned it. Now I'm paranoid even though me and my fiancé are in the IT field.
Girl u did scare me but mamas NEED to know this ... This could lead up to a kidnapping or who knows what else ! Lately people have been trying to kidnap baby's born or unborn & us as mamas need to be extra careful
My hubby highly suggests getting actual security cameras and setting up a strong firewall. That's what he is doing for us. Same concept but more security @fifimama
my husband is a software engineer and has worked in IT security for hospitals for 8 years. he picked out this monitor for us and said it's fine if you're wifi is pw protected and firewalls properly setup

Be careful with video monitoring. As a person in the IT field I can tell you the waves these use are easily tapped into. Same with the voice ones.
