ADVICE NEEDED!! *TMI*
I'm 39 weeks today, and I had my membranes swept yesterday morning (hurt like a B). I had cramping all yesterday which is normal, and today it's been completely fine no pain or nothing. But earlier I noticed that I may have lost my mucus plug, I noticed a mucusy brownish thing in the toilet right before I flushed. And ever since then I've had brown thicker discharge, and for the past 2 hours my stomach has been hurting pretty badly. Should I call or go in? I don't know how to tell if it was "bloody show" cause it wasn't a super big mucus plug it was about the size of a quarter but my discharge since then Has been brown cause it's stained my underwear. I don't know what to do 😅

I'm bracing myself for the "well we don't know for sure unless you come in and get monitored" last time my BF made a huge hissy fit that I had him drive me there and nothing happened and we were sent home lol.
My hospital is 40 minutes away so I don't wanna drive down there for them to tell me I'm not in labor and have to go home you know?
A phone call to your OB can't hurt anything. :)
mucus plugs arent necessarily big because its not at the opening of your vagina. so it could be small like a quarter. could call the nurse line at your hospital to be safe?? @hannahelise29
I'm pretty sure you're in labor (or early stages)! I knew for sure because there was blood when I wiped and I felt like I had to go to the bathroom baddddd lol
I had my membrane sweep on Monday. & that happened to me. Pretty much all that bloody show is normal. I just did a lot of walking. I was told to go in unless my water breaks or contractions are painful to where I couldn't walk/ talk. Orr if bleeding is bright red. So I'm just doing the waiting game.
