So since about 20-25 weeks I have been saying that I want my daughter in the room with me when I give birth to my son. I'm now 33w4d and I'm getting nervous because I dint know how it's going to be having my 1yo in L&D with me. Has anyone had their toddler in the room during the birth of another child? If so what was it like?

me mmasmomma16, yes they will I can have up to 4 people in the room and she just counts as one of the people and they said that I have to have someone be responsible for her so my grandma is going to do that for me

Maybe your grandma can have her there for the beginning stages of labor and take her out to eat or something when it gets real. You should be focusing on your child coming into the world, not worrying if your daughter is okay! Let her come back in after to meet her baby brother!

I have a toddler and I thought about him being there but I'm glad he wasn't cause I wouldn't be able to focus and labor the way I needed. It for sure would have scared him. I was loud lol.

my hospital doesn't allow anyone under the age of 13 on the floor let alone in the same room.
