@babyboy201699, I'm 18 and I still clean my belly button ? lol. my mom would help me us clean our belly buttons until 12 and we did it ourselves. @alexislopez a cotton swab & hydrogen peroxide works.

@alexislopez, alcohol wipes for the umbilical cord and after it falls off for the dried blood. I'm going to start cleaning it with warm water and ear swabs and switch back n forth with the alcohol wipes

Yes belly buttons are always supposed to be cleaned

I do because of the dried blood it has in there from when the umbilical cord falls off. N I'm continuing to clean it just so the area can stay clean.
