I've been with my BF for almost 3 years. When we first met he was well driven, he had a car, he was dedicated to working, he was in scjool for mechanics and he wasn't the best looking but he was still sort of in shape. When we started dating things started spiraling downhill. He quit his job. He sold his truck and bought a shitty car from a friend that I knew for a fact would break down in less than a month but he didn't listen and did it anyway. He loves cars. Anything that has to do with cars and racing and whatever he enjoys talking about it. He dropped out of school and basically did nothing for awhile. I started getting fed up because we couldn't have a conversation if it wasn't about car or his friends and their cars etc. So we broke up. After about a month he started working again and we got back together. He ended up moving in with me and my parents before we hit the year mark because his mother is an alcoholic. He still live with us today, he doesn't pay bills at all. We had a baby and he's only working because my dad is offering him work. We barely talk about anything. I love him but im tired of repeating myself about the same things "get a job" "go to school" "get a car" "you need to move out" etc. Our son is going to be three months and he has barely helped. He doesn't wake up at all during the night unless I force him too. I work as a server and I go to school and I still come home to do everything with our son. I'm fed up and broke up with him. Was I wrong to leave him? There's only so much a woman can take. And I need to start thinking about myself and my son.

You need to do what is best for you and your son. Don't stay with someone because you feel you have to or you feel guilty. You did the right thing, you want your son to grow up around responsible people who can take care of themselves and their own. Not someone with no ambition.

hell no! tell him until he gets a real job and can be a supporting man on his own he is to sleep on the couch where he belongs. just put your foot down and tell him youre done with his excuses. my babys father tried to give me that excuse after cheating (it was a year ago) and still expected to sleep on my bed and i made him sleep on my couch until he moved out. you should not be sleeping on the couch you are the mother of his child. thats disrespectful of him -_- @alexaviersmommy007

we currently are not together. but he still wants to sleep in my bed instead of the couch -.- he gave me shit about going to the couch. I'm so over it.

@mommy_of_two1994, I agree completely. I've told him that but he somehow tries to make it seem like I'm unsupportive and I'm supposed to help him and stuff but what more can I do?? He got paid $500 on friday and by Sunday he had 70$ left? Wtffffffff. Where the money went I have NO IDEA! he bought small cans of formula and that's it. How am I supposed to feel comfortable with a man who can't even financially support himself? He has 30 days to get his shit straight or I'm sending him back to his mothers.

no you are not wrong. he needs to get his shit together because hes not really doing anything or doing anything to better his life and for you and your baby. i say let him get his shit together before you and him take anything anymore further. he needs to be on his feet where he has his things situated. he needs go get up and get an actual job himself that he took the time to look for. @alexaviersmommy007

I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

I need to chat with someone about my partners perving on other girls and talking about random women who we see in public I can’t deal with it aswell as him searching one specific female work colleague on Facebook I’m getting really irritated by his behaviour I’m finding it ridiculously pathetic to the point I’m not wanting to speak to him. He’s literally staring and head turning and then talks to me about them even on the school run one of my sons friends mums he pervs on every day he’s even started parking behind her and every day before i get out of the car to pick my son and our daughter up he talks about this boys mum and then as soon as I get in the car he’s speaking about her he even knows her reg plate number to it’s all getting to weird and to much.

So over this feeling! Ever since I've had ds, OH and I have fought my mother on not wanting to give ds a dummy just cause we don't like them and find he self soothes. For the past three times my mother has had him, she has gone against our rule and given him a dummy and of course I spoke to her about it (that's all my knowledge on how many times she's done it). On Sunday we celebrated my stepfathers birthday and due to OH working I had to do it alone which isn't the thing that bothered me. The thing that bothered me was no matter what I said regarding ds I wasn't listened to. I told my mother to sit behind ds if she was going to sit him up on the floor as he hasn't got the whole balance thing down pact but she didn't and then ds falls and starts crying cause he hurt himself, I picked him up and my mother just came and took him off me! I told her he can't forward face yet as he is below the shoulder line in order to forward face but they did anyway. I get it's her first grandchild and she's excited but I never got to share the news about ds's first tooth or his first attempt at crawling to the family because she already done it. Yes I know, I probably sound petty asf! I had to repeatedly ask my mother to take me and ds home as he was tired and close to the over tired stage. On the way home ds fell asleep, luckily I was sitting beside him and looked at him cause he had fallen asleep and had his head facing down so I quickly grabbed his head and held it up till we got home.
