anyone got a 5 year old that just whines about every single thing that doesn't go their way? or that you say no to? how the heck do you fix it? I'm so tired of it...

I will sure try to ignore it more, I've just been sending him to his room every time cause I'm tired of hearing the fit. I realize that I go back on my punishments too much though

The more attention you give it, the more they seem to do it. It used to be big at dinner, we just completely ignore it and it seems to not happen as much.

Ignore it and let them whine and cry. They eventually learn they don't get their way. My now 6 year old stepson used to be bad with that
