I need some advice...no surprise right? lol

I want pictures during my labor and birth and have appointed my super close childhood friend(who I've been pondering as God mother) however some of the comments she's made about my birth have made me uneasy...example; I told her I was doing a water birth and she was like I'm freaking nervous, i feel like it's gonna drown...I feel like I really don't need the extra negativity and am rethinking who will take the pictures but at the same time there's that saying "tough times bring even the furthest people together" I'm just torn...any suggestions?
