ex) a hamper
I wanted a specific hamper that matched my nursery set and BOTH my aunts went out and bought the same exact hamper except it's not the one I want. Getting frustrated because I spent a long time picking out what I wanted and it's all on the registry for people to look at. Why does no one want to follow it.

not many people follow registries... I guess if you want specific things it's better to just buy it yourself rather than expect others to.

a lot of people don't follow registries. they did however get me diapers and wipes which I did need we had them bring diapers or wipes to put in a raffle for a prize. a lot of stuff I got before I was pregnant. even had my nursery furniture and bedding all good to go so I didn't have to worry about people buying me mismatched things

My family does not give gifts that can be exchanged. Ever. They'll have throw the receipt out or gotten it for next to nothing where you can't exchange it for Anything of value. This is why I'm frustrated. Then your stuck with the gifts that you won't use and can't get rid of
