Ladies I have a planned C-section Saturday and I'm not sure what to expect. What are your stories and the most painful parts of being prepped?

@db18, ill be having my second c-section in July. with my daughter honestly nothing hurt I cried a while hour before because I thought it was and honestly it didn't from the anesthetics to the recovery. while I was under I did have a reaction which was they itchiness. and it was all around my nose and my face but mainly my nose. i cut it up. but it wasn't a pain like feeling just an itch u can't get rid of lol. recovery pain I didn't have any I got stitches instead of glued (my Dr is old school) I was up walking basically the first day after. I didn't even need to take me pain medication that was prescribed to me. it went to waste.

The worst part in the prep to me was when you can't move any part of your body also I become very itchy and since I have no feeling it is pain ask for Benadryl and will help just a heads up

make sure you have people to help you out with the baby and make sure you get enough rest because it's super painful if you over do it. And keep up on your pain meds because the pain can get pretty unbearable if you don't.
