My sons father is in his life and my son has my last name. It was just easier for insurance reasons because we were never married just have my son together. That is your decision though. do what you feel is right.

my name was hyphenated before I got married. sucked writing it out but other people thought it was cool lol my mom put her maiden name first then my dads last name so if need be, we could just drop his.

The only thing is, he hasn't been consistent throughout my pregnancy & hasn't paid for anything. Just started coming to my appointments now that I'm due in a few weeks. @lilfree16
