My best friend who I've known for 10 years hasn't been here for me AT ALL during my pregnancy. Even when I told her I was in the hospital because I was cramping she just said "damn". Didn't even ask what was wrong. Now that I'm getting closer to my due date she's trying to talk to me and call herself the "aunt" and say she's so excited. Ugh idk what to do

I'd talk to her about it. I mean if she's your best friend and has always been there for you except for these last few months I think all relationships go through ups and downs. Maybe she felt weird about pregnancy or couldn't find a way to be there for you. Maybe she was going through things and didn't want to alarm you. There's a number of things that could've happened. At the end of the day do you see her in your life long term? Do you see your life without her? Evaluate.

I hear you girl. I actually just went through the same thing last week. I went to a friend's SIL baby shower because well I know her family like that. When we were there she clearly stated that we were 'BFF'. Now she's saying that she won't be going to my baby shower because she doesn't want to drive twice two Vegas (as her SIL already had her baby last weekend) I let her know to not expect me to forgive her and i will tell her when my baby's born. I felt horrible about it for a while until I manned up and said fuck you I finally realized what kind of 'friend' you are. I'm not going to sit here and tolerate that crap and I don't have time for it. (it's not the first time she leaves me hanging on a special moment in my life) so it's just time to move on. As a quote says people will come people will go but those that matter are those that have been there for you in roughest moments in your life. *sorry for so long comment* blessings!!
