pretty hard. if you are financially stable and don't have any drug issues or anything like that they usually never take the kids from mom. however they probably will give dad like every other weekend if he pays child support.

I have temp custody of my brother. the reason I have custody is basically after the minor follow up appts after he was a baby my mom never took him to a si gle doc appt in his life and then never put him in school and he's 15. I'm still fighting for custody but his mom had every opportunity to try to win children services over mostly they just wanted to hear her Apologize and admit she was wrong for doing it but she refused to. then there's a list of things she had to do within a yr and she didn't comply. so anyway you don't have much to worry about

@jasminemaye, they rarely take custody away from the mother to the father unless you have a drug problem that he can prove in which they'll constantly test you over a period of time. he can fight for visitation rights in court if he pays child support. but he will usually be required to provide the transportation.
I understand that I do trust me. but if he jumps through the court's hurdles. It's a level he could work to if he chooses to pursue it. in the court's eyes the children benefit most from both parent involvement. it can depend on your state laws and lawyers. I have seen father's with no involvement for 2 1/2 years get immediate visitation while in other states that's grounds for parental right termination.

children services has a super long process they half to follow to try to always keep children with there parents.

depending on how close the parents are from each other. and how involved both parents are from the beginning it could be a fifty fifty split

yeah no the most he could do is fight for joint custody. they don't just take your rights away. from either parent.
