For those who have gotten induced what was your experience like ? I'm scared of getting induced !

My inducement lasted 25 hours from start to finish. I had a great experience despite it lasting so long. Got my epidural about 16 hours in.

I got induced my first baby and will be getting induced again. no medical reason other than baby and I are both in good condition for it. the first time went great, got an epidural too but it didn't make me loopy or anything. still aware without the pain. but theres always risks no matter which way you give birth. I kinda think this baby will cone earlier than expected but we will see and im hoping if I do get induced again that it'll go as smoothly as my first. about 4 hrs of labor and 23mins of pushing and it was over. lol @snicole12

Really painful even with an epidural. I had contractions for 46 hrs and labor 17 hrs. Still felt the contractions really painful for me and the pushing as well. It was a rough labor for me though but I pushed her out in less then 25 min. If they ask you if you want a mirror to watch your labor you should :) motivated me more to push her out so fast.

I hated the IV in my wrist though. that shit hurt more than my contractions.

@jaaym_, @momwife1316 @carparker00 at how many weeks were yall induced ? Did the baby have to stay in nicu ?

Not really, they only hurt terribly right before my epidural and them right before I delivered

no I wasnt dilated then @snicole12 and I was 39+ weeks but I was effaced and baby was engaged. so no nicu. I'm already dilated to a 3 now so hopefully it helps speed things along.

I was 40 weeks and 5 days. I was actually scheduled to be induced at 41 weeks but I started contracting days before but even then I was only dilated 3 centimeters for 15 hours so they had to Induce me because they were scared of infections happening or my baby having a bowel movement and she did have one actually but she was fine. And the contractions for me hurt more then the pushing .. Pushing was easy compared to dealing with the contractions and I got a second degree perineal tear

I got induced at 39 weeks exactly because my son scored a 6/8 on an ultrasound for movement. It wasn't and at all it did take 13 and a half hours honestly though after I got my epidural I slept threw most of it. They broke my water at 4 a.m. and the day before I had woken up at 7 a.m. I was super tired! !
