What's everyone's thoughts on telling everyone that's going to be around the baby lots to get the whopping cough…

I had my whopping cough yesterday n going for flu shot next week... midwife told me to just get everyone who lives with me to get theirs done... everyone else can stay away with their germs.. I've even put down on my hospital forms even the slightest sneeze cough or anything and they nurses have permission too not let them in too see me..

my midwifes neva even mentiond any vaccines to me, ive had nothn!?

Your hospital has a supply of them that they give to pregnant women, I asked my midwife about getting hubby done and they 'snuck' him one when I had a midwife appointment.

@bub2015, the chemist said they will call if they get any in but I'm not counting on it :( and @sarah1809 my gp didn't even let me know that I couldn't get any and gave me the prescription, I then went to several different chemists and all of them said they didn't do it, then the last chemist said yeah they are only giving them to pregnant women and we might get some in

I'd probably check if anyone can actually get it first because I told everyone they had to and it turns out Perth has been out of stock for months and are only giving it to pregnant women. I'm not too sure if it's everywhere else but I'd just check :) my partner can't even get it

I told anyone that won'ts to see bubs has to get it.... And I don't care what they think it's the health of your lil bubs
