Best thing I could say helped me is to lay my little one down in his crib or somewhere he'd be safe and to step away for a few minutes just to breathe and get myself together. If your baby is going to cry regardless there is no harm in taking a few minutes to yourself as long as baby is somewhere safe:)

It's okay walk away for 15 minutes as long as baby is in the crib. They will cry, but nothing worse will happen. You need to keep your mental sanity too.

@mama_tj, that technique so works! Omg! It is a life saver your baby will stop crying almost instantly and be calm for a little while.

I don't have any good advice for that, really...if you're alone the best you could do is take a deep breath, walk away if she's in a safe place and go back after a moment. Or what I usually do it start acting silly as fuck lol like over dramatically make silly sounds and play "wrestle" her while making grrr noises and stuff, she thinks it's hilarious when I karate chop her belly lightly and wiggle it with a loud "waaaaa!" LOL basically just distract the shit outta the lil one until they get over it, once ya hear the laughing it's so much easier to calm down because it's cute and sweet 😃

I saw that video and tried it immediately and my little guy quiets down and looks so content afterwards! It really is a life saver! @mama_tj
