I posted a couple of days ago about a rash my son had. I've been using coconut oil and oatmeal baths now it looks worse. Idk what to do he has an appointment on the 18th that's the soonest I can get him in. I'm posting pictures in the comments. I need options. Should I take him to the emergency room?
Science! My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
With all this food being posted I thought this might be fun.

We use huggies little movers since 2 months and huggies all natural wipes. Desitin and coconut oil for diaper rash cream and baby powder.

@dae ok thank you. I'm letting him play without a diaper right now just to air it out some. I have to wait till his daddy gets home which should be soon thank you

you're welcome not all rashes are the same you don't want it to keep spreading not trying to scare you but I've seen it happen before @andrew_nikolai2015

use pure corn starch. keeping moisture on it will keep it irritated. corn starch won't hurt it and will help draw the moisture away and help it healed @andrew_nikolai2015 that's what I've always used it it helps tremendously

right... that's how my son was i love Huggies but as soon as my son turn 4 months he started to break out i never would've known to switch his diapers if it wasn't for my mom hopefully when i have my baby she can use Huggies

He probably needs an antifungal. there's so much moisture in that area all the time it gets rashes so easily :(

I would definitely take him to urgent care though. The 18th is still a while and it's got to be uncomfortable for him.
