I ran into my old high school friend, Jessica, in Target today. I knew she was pregnant and due June 1st and all of that... I asked if she was planning on breastfeeding. She said "that'll be kind of hard for me to do..." And then she explained that she is putting her baby up for adoption! The lady who is adopting the baby was with her, and they explained how Jessica doesn't feel comfortable raising a baby at this point in her life, however the lady (Amy) and her go to church together so Jessica will still be able to see her daughter regularly and be apart of her life. I thought that was so cool! On top of that, I offered some breastmilk donations and Amy was so excited! She knows breastmilk is best but for obvious reasons, she wouldn't be able to breastfeed, so she's super excited the baby will be getting any! The weirdest part of all of this is that they are naming the little girl Amelia Rose, which is what we would've named our baby if he was a girl. So I still get to feed a little Amelia Rose! I can't get over how beautiful the situation is. ❤️

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

Her helmet she got so she can be safe (as she told me) when she rides her bike and scooter lol
love how things work out!
