Yay we might have mold! This might be the reason my daughter keeps breaking out in rash/hives...I took her to her doctor and she just said it was a viaral infection and needed to take its course. My poor baby has been breaking out for over a month now and she says it's just an infection....I go and look up all of my daughters symptoms on webmd and it came up as a possibility of mold. I look up mold and symtoms and everything is right on with her and my husband when he went in there. I swept her floor before I looked everything up thinking it might have just been the dust and dirt since I'm allergic to dust. only after I look it all up I see it says not to do that because it will put the mold allergens in the air if not lightly set first. So when I sent to lay her down for her nap(only after her hives went away) when I walk out I get super itchy all over. I have to wait for my Husband to get home to call the apartment owner because I can't understand him with his accent(whatever it is). That's still another half an hour and we have to wipe down my daughters crib and move it into our room so she won't break out more and if they do decide to come inspect and clean it.

This is just what I need this close to my due date. I'm so scared all this stress and itching will make me go into early labor.

@mommy.valencia6, yeah I just looked it up real quick. It says that the toxic black mold is what can cause the lupus or other forms of respatory problems or infections. If only one out of six people got sick from it that is weird. I don't know if it is anyways I was just saying that I Hope it wasnt....since my daughter already has medical problems.

Actually no bcuz out of the 6 ppl that live in the home only my niece got it the mold is light its not like black you barely see it also

I didn't know or ever thought that you could get lupus from mold unless it's like toxic black mold. if it was we would be able to see it and we all would be a lot worse than just my daughter with hives that don't seem to bother her. sorry to hear about your niece though. @mommy.valencia6

thanks lady's. my landlord is going to hire somone to check and do the clean up if it is so my daughter and I will not be around while it's happeneing.

she was a healthy lil girl she came up with this so called butterfly rash on her face nd her whole body her body with hurt her so bad nd feel dizzy they told her it might be growing pains but when she went to her regular doctor after going to like 3 emergency rooms her doctor told it may be lupus so they too her the Oakland's childerns hospital nd confirmed itvwas lupus not trying to scare you but its better to be safe then sorry

oh my make sure to take in a childrens hospital my sister lil girl has lupus now out of nowwhere she got it but one thing is that sje has mold bad in her house i read all the symptoms nd they all match my niece when she 1st started to get checked

Make sure that you use gloves and a mask as well mama!! Super important if it is.best of luck!! ❤️

Yay I'm making my Husband call him today once he gets home. I didn't know that it was mold and still don't k ow I thought at first that she might be like me and breaking out from the dust and dirt on the floor...plus we live in Hanford near a lot of feilds. I didn't read the mold info till after I swept already and realized it was a bad idea after I did so. I have to wipe down her crib to get the mold spores off of it so she can sleep in our room with us since I'm too big for her to sleep in the bed with us as she rolls to much. Once the owner comes I will get her a humidifier but can't until after he comes or my husband will say she doesn't need 8th

If you rent, make the owner have it checked . we have mold as well.. Every house I've ever lived in. Never sweep, scrub, or wipe. Best you can do if it's on walls is to mix bleach:water and spray and let it do the job and air dry. Humidifiers can help purify the air. My mom used to do that for me when i we lived in a house that had it so bad in my room, I had to sleep with my parents

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
