Does anyone else have an anterior placenta and want to tell me their experience with it?

I have one. I didn't feel strong kicks until 23/24 weeks. It's still in the front now, but it's moved up. So now it's resting right at the top of my uterus like where my bra sits, it sucks. Lol. My baby is still head up and her head is right underneath the placenta and it looks like it's squishing the side of her face. It's my first pregnancy so I can't tell you the difference really. I just know it took awhile to feel her, and I know with some they could move down and cover your cervix which wouldn't be good for vaginal birth. (The picture shows my placenta on the side of her face, she doesn't mind obviously otherwise she would go head down for mommy haha, she's comfy 😊)

With an anterior placenta in some cases it takes longer to feel fetal movements especially for your SO or family members that wants to feel the baby move and kick.

I've seen someone post on here before about their experience with an anterior placenta and she said she heard the heartbeat at 11 wks just fine and felt kicks at about 20

The lady doing my ultrasound today acted like I shouldn't be feeling it yet because of this, but I do. I feel him kicking a lot.
