HEY MISSOURI MOMMYS DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW GETTING A FREE BREASTPUMP THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE WORKS? I ACTUALLY HAVE 2 INSURANCES ONE THAT I HAVE THROUGH MY PARENTS AND MEDICAID
Question for you ladies how are you guys getting your breast pump through insurance before baby gets here im 4 weeks from having him and I have 3 different insurances that NY state have me on what one don't pick up the other one will can someone let me know please cause I want to have mine before he gets here as well or at least by time eh arrives?????
Breast pump covered by insurance I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.
When I have baby, I plan on breastfeeding. Are there any specific items I will need? I already have breastpads and will be ordering my breast pump through my insurance.
Trying to get a breast pump through my insurance feels about impossible 😣 United health care is awful. I have a prescription for a pump, but they're seriously making me jump through hoops. My insurance will cover a non medical gender test no questions asked, but try and order a pump to feed my kid, and they act like I'm asking for $10,000!! I'm determined to get this pump for free. If not, guess we will have no choice but to buy one 😡
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖

Mine told me I have to have my doctor write out a prescription and take it to a local medical supply store and that's how mine covers it..

you can also ask your doc. they normally have a company they support that gives out free pumps with insurance information.

just call your insurance, they will be able to tell you how it works and what options you have. it's easy.
