@mrodriguez17, his step sister told me that he had a lot of cocaine in his system and he's never done drugs before and she also said that his liver and kidneys were failing and his drug addict sister just got out of jail almost 2wks ago for selling drugs. So me and his step sister are sorta thinking his sister is involved

Man that sucks . Hope he's doing better! What sucks it's that family getting him involved in drugs . Smh. Be strong mama 💕

I just saw a picture you posted of you and him at your baby shower. He really doesn't even remotely look like a drug user :( hope you get answers soon and everything turns out well. Why on earth would his mother not tell you anything if you're pregnant with his child? @brandylynn94

@taraduffy79, he's never used drugs at all and I was at my grandmas last night cause my nephew had ball practice, so she easily could've slipped him drugs in his drink. His mother is the kinda person where she doesn't want other people at the hospital and I'm like "I'm his fiancé and we're about to be having a baby any time now, so I think I'm aloud to be there"

@brandylynn94, he's in the ICU I assume. I'm an ICU nurse and usually we get patient that OD of it's really bad. But he's young so I'm sure he would bounce back.

@nurseriri, he'll be 27 in July and I hope he improves before my due date

@brandylynn94, if you're not his health care proxy and or if he doesn't have one then his mother next of kin can call all the shots with regards to who can visit and or who can get info on his health status. Hope everything works out and prayers going out to you and the family.

If she slipped him cocaine in his drink it would have to be a lottttt to cause him to go into organ failure. That's what's got me concern. If his kidney is failing they would probably place an emergency hemodialysis access so he can be dialysed to rid his body of the toxins. Seems like he's in serious shape from your post and my experience. But pray baby, you're in my thoughts.

@brandylynn94, they usually intubate patients in his situation just to protect their airway but as in your fiancé situation once they feel they're stable they extubate them. I'm glad there's progress as I had mentioned he's young so he has that as an advantage. Everything will work out. Sure he would be downgraded to the medical floor within 24 hours. Good luck Hun.
