My water broke on its own after a couple of hours of medicine to help ripen my cervix! After a couple of hours of intense contractions 3 minutes apart I caved on the epidural and I feel so much better. Getting pitocin at 3 am to help me dilate since I don't seem to be doing it on my own, then hopefully a few hours later Hadrian will be here!!! Too excited!! 😍😍😍

@chelcita, I didn't really have any symptoms other than lots of pelvic pain and I'd lost my mucous plug. Still only dilated to a one, but they've just started my pitocin. If you're worried about the pain, just make sure to get the epidural as fast as you can once labor contractions start. I tried to go natural but could only last two hours and my contractions started very painful and already 3 minutes apart. The medicine they put in to ripen your cervix isn't bad at all but will cause some light contractions but you should be fine through those!!
@hadriansmommy2016, I'm getting induced in couple hours..I don't have no symptoms at all right now, only my pelvic bone that it's bothers me..so my doctor said that she will put something down there to help my cervix get soft and open and then what? I'm so scared and nervous right now! I'm scared to feel too much pain
suggestion ask if they have a peanut ball it's a yoga ball shaped as a peanut. I went from a 5 to a 10 in half an hour.
@janetteeeee, definitely try to rest as much as possible, you will need it! Hard to rest once you're in the hospital!!
