So I wanna try natural birth but last night I had false contractions and I could barely tolerate them.. what have you mommies done to get thru labor without meds or epidural?

And now the pain hurts like a mofo @momosharlene . That what I'm scared of @momosharlene . I am a first time mom can deal with pain but when u read how other ppl describe the pain I get nervous.
honestly I'm not sure. this was my first baby and I wasn't contracting at all before they started the pitocin @eo6579
@momosharlene, how does it feel to be induce. Is it different from regular contraction
Lol oh man I'm excited I give all the mommies props I can't wait for my true epidural or no epidural I just want my son .. Thank you ladies @mommyhammond2016 @momosharlene @jamielynn07
everyone is different and I have some.friends who have given birth naturally and got up the next day for a walk lol..I myself, must be out of shape haha. just take it 1cm at a time. and always expect the next cm to get more painful. Noone told me that. I was like 5cm and thought ok I'm half way there and I'm living so no problem I got this..then I got to 9cm and was like shit lol
I got induced this morning at 5:30 and had every intention of not getting the epidural but after 8 hours of contractions and 9cm dilated I caved and begged the nurse for the epidural. I hated asking because I was dead set on doing it natural but either way the end result was the same I got my beautiful baby boy. epidural or not becoming a mommy is a wonderful experience. @aldensmommy
what really helped with my first it sounds weird but I did a lot of focusing on something like walking on the beach with my baby and it really helped I was in pain but I could tolerate it
Yeah I agree I have a birth plan but like I told my ob things can changed I'm not shutting down the option of epidural I just wanna try and see if I can try with out it first.. I was thinking of that's to like what if I do natural it take a alot of energy I wanna be awake and alert after.. @jamielynn07
if you do just know that it's ok!! you don't get a prize for doing it without haha and I know you want what's healthy for you and your baby but millions of thriving kids are born with medication. to be honest I think I'm going to get an epidural this time..I feel that I can handle it again because I did it once, but I was soo soo tired that I didn't get that amazing connection when I first seen my son. I was exhausted and when he came out I literally couldn't keep my eyes open for a second longer. you get adrenaline to get through labor but I know my body shut down right after. I also dislocated my hip and that caused so much additional pain.. I am so proud that I did it but now that I'm already a mom I'm not as concerned with doing everything perfectly. @aldensmommy go in with a plan but be open to change because every persons pain level is different and not all births are the same.
I'm reading up on as many books and online site for tips to keep focus but I'm a nervous I'm going to give in @jamielynn07
my first was 8lb 7oz and I had him natural. it wasn't easy and I got really tired but! it can be done!
breath, focus on something like an object, keep thinking positive that your so close to seeing your baby and your kick ass and can do it.
The pain was mostly bare able for me until I was about 8 cm dilated then I couldn't handle it anymore. I'm not sure if the contractions were worse because of the pitocin or not but once I got to an 8 I was begging for the epidural and by time they got to my room with it I was a 9 and it was still 2 hours after the epidural before he finally decided to make his arrival. so even though I was dead set on not getting the meds I'm so great full I did. Also one thing no one told me about was after the baby is born they have to deliver the placenta and that's not a plesent experience at all. @eo6579
