How does your vagina feel after birth? Whether you tear or not, it must hurt. I'm just curious, how bad is it ?

@octobermama96, It depends on everyone. It took me longer because my boys dad worked a lot and wasn't home much. So I didn't have the help or rest I needed with a 1 year old and newborn. Plus, going up and down stairs.

@mommyof2boys248, oh my goodness 😱your second story scared me so bad. It took 1 year for you to fully heal?

With my first I was cut and it hurt for a while after. Witch hazel was my friend. My second I ripped to my butt felt everything couldn't get anymore epidural refills. Having it more less natural that way hurts. Well for me I couldn't sit on my butt for almost a year after. Then I would still have shooting pain here and there afterwards. This time I don't want any meds so we shall see how things go.

after birth was worse than the whole labor for me. I tore, so I had stitches. it felt as if my insides could fall out with any movement lol sore and painful. I'm not looking forward to that part again😭😭😭😭

I was told that by my doctors. my body always have them a hard time lol look up pelvic excersises or invest in a birthing ball. sumo squats relieved during some time in my labor. you should be fine tho. you just need to have a relaxed positive mentality

it was uncomfortable to sit normal for me. I had to keep one leg tucked under myself to feel some relief from it

make sure you take your meds too. they're gonna give you stool softener and ibuprofen. do not miss a dose or you'll be sorry you did lol

Yea I told my boyfriend and mom that if I had him at full term I wouldn't able to have him natural bc by his due date he was 8lb and in so small I couldn't of done it idk how women have 8 or 9 lb baby's

My vagina was soooo swollen it was disgusting. That squirt bottle and ice packs you get after labor will be your best friends. The stitches gave me sharp pains. But then went away. The bleeding gets annoying though! I bled for a month after.

Like right after birth. .it hurt to pee like hell omg. no tears either

@lucyyxoxo_, yeah I'd assume that a c section is waaay worse . This may be a little tmi, but I feel like I'm so small down there and like this baby is just going to rip right through me .

were meant to give birth so the pain subsides after a while. it's much worse with a csection bc it's considered major surgery.

lol it Will all be okay also the nurses will give u pads with ice packs on them take as many as u can get and ask them for demoplast pain relief spray ur going to want that cuz it numbs ur area and takes care of the Burning and itch (if u get all that I only used it when it felt like I was on fire down there 😂😂) @octobermama96

Well I had my son at 24 weeks he was 1lb 10oz and it took me at least 24 hrs before I could walk with out having to stop and sit down and it took at least 2 days for me to not be walking weird lol

u get stings here and there and sometimes u feel like it's on fire down there(if u get the "ring of fire" during labor you'll understand what I mean) but it really isn't that bad what grosses me out tho is the amount of blood that comes out of u lol ur going to want the heavy duty pads like poise pads the ones that in a purple packet (I didn't tear )

really sore. my son ripped me and it hurt to use the rest room. but what hurt the most was my butt. it felt like it fell out lol you know how they say push like you have to poo?
