HELP!!! So I'm not really good wit breastfeeding my baby boy won't latch on at night and so that leaves me pumping more then I wanted so I'm thinking of pumping my milk and breastfeeding him like that any thoughts btw I'm a FTM

im a FTM as well and I have talked to a friend who is a doula about this. the only issue with "exclusively pumping" is that your breasts need saliva to stay stimulated and keep a good production up. some moms who only pump have to make extra time for skin contact with baby while trying to have babies mouth brushed against as close as possible. It can also consume a lot more time in order to keep your production up. Either way you decide I wish you luck!

Has he been evaluated for ties? They can cause problems with latch.

If he has a upper lip tie or a posterior tongue tie, it ca cause problems with his latch. How well does his top lip flange out? Can he stick his tongue out of his mouth, past his bottom lip?
