I've been taking hot baths for months. Does nothing for me

I was having contractions last night and my Dr told me to take a warm bath to slow them down and it worked

My doc told me hot baths can make the baby stressed.

nope. I took hot baths and that did nothing. I was over due

Don't think so. I take a lot of baths and never heard that it can.
