Okay so I have a question ladies, have you all heard of the old wives tale that if you put baking soda and mix it with pee you can determine if your having a baby boy or a girl. According to the tale if the mixture fizzes then you have a boy (hormones I guess) and if it doesn't then your having a baby girl. Anyways have any of you all tried it and if so how was it?

I had already found out I was having a boy but I recently tried it and it said I was having a boy :) I think it's just a coincidence or something

I haven't tried that but the heartbeat wisetale is usually right. if it's higher than 140 beats a min it's a girl and if it runs lower than 140 it's a boy.

The beats a min worked for my first baby. But not this one. I'm having a boy now and his heart rate is higher than 140

My baby boys heart rate was always higher than 140...I don't believe any of those things lol
