I'm not a smoker of any kind, I just figure there are chemicals in anything and you can't guarantee something is 100% pure or safe unless you're growing it yourself. I'm not anti-weed but that is just the way I feel as far as pregnancy goes. But I do know some women have pretty severe anxiety and maybe it does help

the act of smoking is not good for the child. smoking cigarettes is more toxic. the main danger of marijuana while pregnant can be cps. marijuana is safer the most medication for annexity and nausea.

I stopped smoking MJ when I became pregnant, although some people decide not to quit . It's not worth any risk of harming your baby . I've been told by a few people that it can cause baby to be colicky

@zaysmomma, only first trimester? I have a coworker who just told me yesterday she had anxiety and her doctor actually told her to smoke weed, she had smoked cigarettes before and her dr preferred she only smoke weed

I quit smoking around week 4. I was going out of town for a work thing anyways so I used it as an excuse. I've made it this far and I haven't touched it. (I used to be a pretty serious smoker). I can't wait till I can again. Hubby still does and I make him blow it in my face sometimes. I've read pros and cons but it depends on the authors opinion in general. I had 3 miscarriages prior to this pregnancy that I continued smoking thru so I figured it wouldn't hurt to give up everything I knew wasn't good. Im probably going to wait a good 4-6 months after before I start again since I know it comes out in the breast milk. Once he starts eating solids I'm done.

Yeah once the baby got bigger I felt way too guilty so I stopped. Yeah I know a couple that smokes during their pregnancy and there doctors were okay with it
