Yes it is. At the beginning is very hard. Make sure you get some nipple cream and rub on them after every time u nurse and when you feel very sore. It's safe for baby as well. They will get better over time trust me ☺️ but you will have days where they randomly get sore very normal☺️ you can do it momma!!

Me too I have to take deep breaths for the first few minutes it's horrible! Mine are all scabbed up too

They gave me nipple protectors at the hospital to wear when I'm not feeding her. they help a lot!!

Thank you! they gave me some nipple cream at the hospital and that helps a lot I just wasnt sure if I'm just doing something wrong or not. @taybugg40 and I sit here like ow ow ow every time she latches it's so painful! I wish my hospital would have given me some of those too haha @addysmomma47

Mine were painful and I winded up buying a nipple shield. Best invention ever and it's $5. Paid for a lactation consultant who said to use it til nipple heals Bc it shouldn't hurt
