just gotta rant.. Someone just posted on Facebook that fed is NOT best. Fed is just the basic thing we should be doing for our babies. Ummm excuse you? Just because breastfeeding is the "better" option doesn't mean a baby should go hungry because the mom wants to stick with the "better" option even though she doesn't produce enough milk. Yes I breastfeed but I know women who don't produce enough milk to breastfeed. That does not make them bad mothers for feeding their child with formula.

I pumped every two hours, was on supplements, and rented a hospital grade pump for a month and still only got ONE ounce a pumping session if I was lucky. On top of that my baby couldn't latch and had a hard time sucking because she was born with an infant form of my illness, which makes me extremely weak, so pumping was the only option. I tried my hardest and didn't quit til I almost keeled over from exhaustion and people still manage to make me feel like I didn't do enough. If they weren't commenting on breastfeeding I am sure it would be something else people are doing wrong... Mothers just can't seem to catch a break these days.
Just had a C-section yesterday wanted to breastfeed my baby but my milk flow isn't heavy and not enough to pump out for her so I'm giving her bottles as well...any tips on how to get my milk flow to be heavy I really want to breastfeed....
I just got this in the mail today. I plan on breast feeding but my mom said I should keep it in case I don't produce enough milk
I've been supplementing some with formula because my baby boy just demands more than what I'm putting out and he seems happier with the formula..my breast milk doesn't seem to satisfy him enough and it seems like he's always hungry unless I give him formula..should I switch to formula only? I thought breast milk was supposed to be best but in his case I'm not so sure ugh idk what to do I just want him to be happy
Honest question ladies! So I had my breastfeeding class and they told me that formula fed babies are more likely to big bigger and obese than breastfeed babies... However all the breastfeed babies I know are huge babies! And my one niece who was formula fed only is so tiny!!
My other niece barely turned 6 months and wears 12 months clothes! And is breastfeed only.... What's your options and experiences.
does anyone else find that their babies are not as satisfied with breast milk? I'm pumping plus supplementing because I don't produce enough for my baby but she seems more full and happier with just formula ): so discouraging. any tips?
My baby is formula fed since day 3 (I didn't know I wasn't producing and practically starved her for 2 days!) and she's a little chunky monkey now and will never go without a meal. :)
