Did anyone travel after 38 weeks? My sisters are tripping out on me bc I have an event this Saturday almost 3 hours away, and I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow! my husband and my mother will be with me..
Yea I had to travel a lot at the end of my first pregnancy and I would just call my doctor and ask het if she recommended it
Well I go Thursday back, if I'm dilated any more I won't but if I'm still good I'm just gunna go.. @ashgreen13617 I forgot I was dilated some!
I would call your doctor and ask if she feels it's safe.
@breannab, I called Medicaid and they will cover you giving birth anywhere in the state. At least in Texas.
@surprise4, yeah ima go regardless I feel good with my mom and husband with me!
I traveled til the end of 38 weeks 3 hours in one direction and will probably do the same with this pregnancy. My husband was with me
Well I'm on medicaid, @breannab but that's what my sister was saying, she didn't want me having her at some redneck hospital lol
I wouldn't. Just because for insurance purposes of you travel past 38 weeks and have an emergency and have to go to a different hospital most insurances will not cover the delivery or anything.
@aljf, if your mom and SO are with you I would feel comfortable! But that's me. Lol
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Ok okay well that's one thing you don't have to worry about lol I still wouldn't though. I would hate to go into labor and give birth at a hospital that I'm unfamiliar with 😩 but go with your gut!!
