Depends on your body, some women bleed for a few days and some bleed for months after. if it persists for a month, go to your doctor and make sure everythings okay. I bled for 2 weeks and had my period at 6wks.

so you just bled at first then stopped then had your period at six weeks ? and I will I've been doing everything possible for the Pain to stop but it won't :/ then again it's only been a week and two days @hhmariah

Yeah, my doctor was kinda surprised. and have you tried a Sitz bath? it helps with swelling and pain.

I'd give it try... even a pot will work, just sit in warm water. My doctor proscribed me ibuprofen and it didn't work for me at all. and oh yeah, I went through 5 huge boxes of pads just those 2wks.

I wish I had a big enough pot for my butt lol could always try sitting in the sink though lmao. yeah my doctor prescribed me percocets but I'm trying to stay away from meds like that since breastfeeding and all I had 800 mg of motrin but my fiance took my last one since he's working for twelve hours doing lawn work and Taking Tylenol but that don't help @hhmariah

I know this is crazy but i was soooo sore for the first week and half and i took peroxide and would pour it down there atleast twice a day and within two days i wasnt sore anymore. And it helped clean my stitches! Just a little tip lol it worked for me!

I did and it worked perfectly fine lol @mommy.to.be.041016 only thing that made me not hurt tried everything else a sitz bath tylenol cold water...all kindsa stuff

yep I've tried that to and it doesn't help I've gotta try that though thank you cause it still burns to pee sometimes due to the stitches @braelynnsmommy
