People say to not announce it until 12 weeks because it's very common to lose the baby before then, 12 weeks is kinda like the safety point :) but its your pregnancy so up to you xx

Exactly! I'm aware about first 3months! It's just my sisters are doing my box in lol xx

no one can tell you what to do! it's a recommendation not to say anything until the twelfth week as you have a reduced risk of miscarriage. it is down to you at the end of the day 😊 xxx

I always think that's a funny one as if, God forbid, anything did happen you would be really upset and the fact you'd not told anybody might mean you wouldn't have the support needed to overcome it or you would tell them what had happened defeating the object of keeping quiet in the first place.

I've posted it on my Facebook & Instagram. I couldn't care what people think it's our first baby & both are excited!! Positive thinking gets you a long way but I do NOT need negative people in my life xxxd

you do what you want it's your pregnancy @mummy2be2016 I wasn't going to announce mine until 12 weeks but then a certain family.member was spiteful and put it on Facebook when I was 5 weeks gone so I had no choice but for everyone to know x

It's absolutely your own choice. it's your pregnancy, your baby, your life, you get to choose what you want. Don't listen to other people, they got no right to tell you this and that. For me, I haven't told anyone other than people in this apps that I'm pregnant, cus I don't want to give people hope and then lose the baby like I did before in my last 3 pregnancies. So you definitely have the right to choose what you want to do. 😊 xx

i done this with my 1st pregnancy and then lost it and was so embarrased every1 asking what happend, just ignored em thinj every1 got the message in the end, then second mc again but didnt tell anyone and still happened this time my oh has told his mum and mum only as he is impatient lol but every1 for there own xx

Well everyone is different I'm just fed up with folk telling me what to do. My body, my baby. X

I told everyone early with my first pregnancy and miscaried, it was really hard telling everyone and people asking how the baby was so when we fell pregnant with vincent we kept it quiet until 12 weeks and even now he's 2months old nothing is on social media apart from this app, personal preference I think it's just because it's very common to miscarry people worry xxx

Do what you feel is best, I've only not told people (out side of my mum, partner etc) this time because I had a miscarriage last year and it was heartbreaking seeing my little girl so upset... So kept it from her till we had a scan and found out all is okay
