@briony1994, take them to a tribunal for discrimination. Definitely speak to acas or citizens advice and see what you can do xx

I work as a secretary for a small manufacturing company, I work with all blokes and they have been very disrespectful towards me recently. They have also changed their attitudes towards me since finding out that I am pregnant but it's all down to me being able to prove all of this which is why I'm glad I found the e-mail. My boss is too coward to reply to my email but is OK to slag me off behind my back!! @zoee23 xx

Oh right Hun. What is it you do ? If you don't mind me asking. Well you can go to citazens advice and get advice... Make sure you do get it sorted this is not fair on you. I know you can take them to tribunal for discriminating you again pregnancy and unfair dismissal.

Thanks @zoee23 just needed to know if this would be enough proof that they are discriminating against me, me and my boss previously discussed me reducing my hours further along in my pregnancy and due to lack of work and now he's refusing it :/ my issue is I can't go higher as the person right at the top is one of the people doing this :/ xx

Briony this is absolutely disgusting. It's not your fault at all and they should be there to support you not to slag you off. You do not need stress at all Hun. Get this letter printed off and take it to someone higher and to citizens advice they are bullying you. Here if you need to talk. Xxxx

Tell him you'll do him for discrimination email him urself n say you've seen the emails n that it's against the law. go to citizens advice n ask them what action u can take as you've done nothing wrong n it's since you've been pregnant

They are trying to force me out :/ I work for a small company @street29 and it's my big boss who's doing this, he's the highest person so I can't go higher than him xx

It's like they are trying to Force u out take this further to higher management n tell them if not sorted you'll do them for discrimination

They haven't mentioned that but I have been told I need to go back after otherwise I will have to pay some of the money back which I don't believe to be true @lou xx

Also I haven't signed a contract because it's had to be changed so many times due to information on it being wrong :/ he kept saying it would be better for my boss if I didn't sign it because then I've got no rights...he was trying to tell me because I haven't got a signed contract I have no leg to stand on :/ he obviously knows I'm not happy or he wouldn't be saying this as I only @lou asked for the hand book, that's it @lou @sophia114 xx

@briony1994, he's bluffing! He's trying to make it seem like he won't be involved if you decided to sue - he most defo will! Make sure you keep a smile on your face :) keep calm and book an appointment with citizens advice and take it from there. How dare they! As if you need to deal with that at work whilst being pregnant 😠

All company's have to have an equality/anti discrimination policy by law as well as an employment policy. Even if you did have to pay the court fees, you can go through a no win no fee route and the fee will be deducted from the compensation. So even if he aimed that at you, it's an empty threat and he knows it. He's scared. Use Acas as much as you can as they are your HR. xx

Just asked if we have an employee handbook, my manager got it for me and then went oh we have employment law aswell, I said I don't know what that is and he said 'if an employee decides to sue the company then they deal with it not us' 'if you decided to take legal action you would never deal with us, you would deal with them'

Why would he aim that at me???? Hmmmm xx

I would have scared him. I would have replied to the email myself saying something like 'maybe she won't just leave. maybe she will sue you for discrimination during pregnancy and then leave after winning all of your money. have a nice day'

I knew they were making it difficult for me, I just needed proof, they think their clever because they deleted the email off my computer as I have access to the emails but they didn't delete it off the accountants computer which I'm having to use as mine isn't working... @beccastirlingx xx

@briony1994, I had the same trouble with my work but I just left it! Go to a citizens advice or take it to your bosses boss! Definitely take it further!! X
