Did/does anyone have trouble with their NB sleeping in their crib/bassinet/play yard? My baby girl (1 week old) has a play yard that comes with a bassinet and then a flat second level. She slept fine the first days in the bassinet but started waking up more often so switched her to the flat second level and she was okay for 2 days then again fussy. She loves sleeping with me on my bed and only wakes up when she has a wet diaper or hungry, no unnecessary waking up.
im n the same boat!! my bby was doin fine n her bassinet. bt lately she sleeps so much better with us! idk 2 kids sleep with us n they wouldnt sleep n thier own rooms til they were bout 5yrs old!!! i dnt want tht again! lol @kat13
Oh ok yeah. That's good. Hmmm maybe she just just wants to be next to mama :) my son has his moments where he doesn't want to sleep in his bed so I'll just lay him next to me. But he's never had a problem with sleeping on his own
I know there's a cosleeper that you can put on the need with you and there's the one that's right next to the bed. My play yard is right next to the bed so I just reach over and I can touch her. @ortegacass661
Look into cosleeping! I have a tiny cosleeper that's right next to my bed. So I sleep right next to it and I assume he can feel my heat and he sleeps comfortably!
no its fine you are helping, I do rush to get her when she wakes up but I should let her be for a bit. I'm willing to try anything and ooo I'll check that out. @jazzyjazz @shyloe
I'm sorry I'm not much help but I'd just rock her to sleep in a chair and put her in her crib and if she wakes and crys check on her if she is fine let her cry herself to sleep my mother in law told me it may be hard but a little crying never hurt I wish I would have listened when she told me
Yeah that's what I'm afraid of. @shyloe
Yes I do swaddle her everytime she sleeps @jazzyjazz
You just have to let her sleep in her bed I slept with my son till he was 1 and1/2 I had the hardest time teaching him how to sleep on his own in his bed I know it's comforting to sleep with her and u get more sleep but you just gotta stick it out with her sleeping on her own

My son has had a flat head since 2 months old. Everytime he goes to the doctor I ask about it and she always says ‘do tummy time, prop him up, sit him up more’. He is now 8 months old and since 4 months has been always propped up. Should i get a second opinion because to me, his head is pretty darn flat
I’m sleeping downstairs!! Husband can have the kids for tonight, idc how early he has to wake up in the morning.... I’m done for the day!!! 😑
mommys who co-sleep
Did you tell lo doctor you were co-sleeping? What is the response im going to get from her dr this month? She is almost 6 months and weve been co-sleeping since 4 months. She starts the night out in bed until she wakes up to eat, and then she comes into my bed.
"sleep when baby sleeps"
What a joke! The second my mind turns off and I fall asleep BAM my baby boy wakes up (he's 7 days old). Will I ever sleep again???

I wish I could do this all day and night. He sleeps in his bassinet at night though with no problems. He hardly ever wakes me up, which is kind of a problem because it's so hard for me to get up to an alarm to wake him up to feed.
yeah that's exactly what I'm afraid of I think I'll have her on my bed once in a while but still try to put her in her own bed and see how that works out c: @leesambee
