Yeah, that's crazy and unhealthy for her! Poor. This is becoming more of an issue. I wish more parents were doing the right thing, not to say you aren't but him.

Yeah that's true. and believe me if he actually wanted to be there for her I'd love that. I want her to have both of her parents in her life but one thing I don't want is him popping up randomly a couple times a year hurting her @adamsbaby2016

Obviously, we don't know the story and thats your business, but I'm just saying its a case by case.

You don't want to let what you feel come between your parenting. If he doesn't want to be there that is one thing, but it is another to take the child from him. But sometime it better to cut them out when they are a PT daddy.

that's what I keep thinking. I don't want him in her life at all because he doesn't deserve her. it just pisses me off so much and I feel guilty when I probably shouldn't because she's going to feel some pain in the future and wonder why her dad didn't want her.

@jnicky, arghh that makes me mad.. He's forced to provide so you probably couldn't do anything but he's not even going to be in her life like he should. Showing up every now and then isn't enough to be a father... My father is terrible and my stepdad isn't any better and I'd rather of not had a dad then been put through what I went through..

I'm pretty sure the fact he doesn't help out now and doesn't act like he should gives you enough to not give him custody or visitations. If he wants visitations he needs to act like a father.

@rockysmommy, how would I do that? he wants visitation and "says" he wants to be there when I have her but honestly I just don't want to ever see him again
