No it's not crazy, Braxton hicks can turn into real labor quickly. I got sent to the hospital at 32 weeks for frequent contractions, I got meds to stop them and steroids to develop my sons lungs

i was the same! im also 26 weeks and i had braxton hicks contractions for 3 hours & i didnt wanna go to the hospital so i fell asleep and i woke up and the pain was gone. just go to the hospital just in case it might be preterm labor

I am already here just to make sure. I just feel like I always get told to go to the hospital and it is always nothing. I just hate the way some of the nurses look at you and act like your stupid for coming. @vb95 @mommy_of_two1994

Definitely not extreme I had the same thing happen 3/4 weeks ago. I was indeed in preterm labor.

@anessafraga, yeah i get you. just time your contractions if theyre frequent 5 mins apart and last for about an hour just go in anyways cause you never know if you are going in preterm labor or not. and i know that feeling but thats okay because its the nurses job to check you :)

@anessafraga the first time, I didn't I thought they were Braxton hicks bc it was only tightening. But last night it was about a 3/4 on the pain scale and only got higher

I just went in anyways because I didn't want to be wrong. Yeah it just makes me feel so stupid sometimes! @mommy_of_two1994

An update they were contractions sadly. They gave me a shot to help stop them, they ended up having to give me a second one before it worked. I am at home now resting and thanking god I went in! @vb95 @mommy_of_two1994 @hermommy
