@twinscomingsoon, pets are family. When anyone with kids say things like that I just want to say "When you get pregnant again are you going to get rid of one of your first kids?"

I had to put my foot down and tell my mom she needed to stop telling me what to do with my pets. They were my first little babies. They taught me so much responsibility and I will not be getting rid of them period. She finally stopped mentioning it after she realized how serious I was about it. I have three dogs and it would literally kill me to give them up.

@maybabyboy, it just kept catching me off guard because literally no one but my husband and doctors have touched me the entire pregnancy. And I had initially planned to get rid of one of the cats; but only because she needs extra attention I was worried I couldn't give her. But over the past few weeks we've worked it out. Honestly its no body's business though. Its annoying that the people without kids are the most vocal about how TERRIBLE your life is supposed to be after you have them. -.-

I feel you on having people touch your stomach. my mom's boyfriend kept touching my stomach once and I swear I was so bothered by it. it doesn't bother me now that I know people are just wondering what my stomach feels like as well as they wanna have the baby kick when they touch my stomach. and as for your pets, definitely that's up to you to decide and Noone else. I had to get rid of my cat because he was devilish and would scratch me and his at my boyfriend and anyone that would come over. thankfully I have a wonderful sister that took him in so he's still close!! that's my baby good luck mama!

I have had a lot of coworkers touch my belly, which doesn't bother me enough to get upset about it, I see these people 40 hours a week. I dare someone I don't know so well to try to touch my belly though. Also, I REALLY feel you on the whole pet thing! we have 2 cats and people keep asking me when we are going to get rid of them... I very strongly tell them NEVER, my cats and my baby are going to be best friends!
