I had this constantly after I gave birth, was put on antibiotics as blood was just dripping out of me and it turns out the stupid hospital had left some of my placenta inside me! Keep an eye on it!! @mummyof5 xx

I'd say so, it's only 24 hours after, I had huge clots that came out even after wiping

I had exactly that it's from the blood pooling inside you. Unless that keeps happening don't worry a couple of this are fine X

i have had a couple clots this size. my mum was in the house when it happened the first time and she told me it was normal xx

I had exactly the same the day after I gave birth and midwife checked it over and said it was a large blood clot but nothing to worry about just a collection of the blood left after birth. You may want to ask midwife to check it if they are coming out to see you. That's what i did but mine was exactly the same size and looked the same. Hope this puts your mind at ease xx

yh I had one like that after I gave birth to my first daughter, they say it's all the blood that has settled whilst laying down or sleeping. I was fine after but just really freaked out until they reassured me lol...of you're worried though hun I'd bring it in to them so they can examine it and make sure you're ok x

@mummyof5, I've heard it's possible for them to miss parts of the placenta after birth. Defo worth phoning x

I would ring my midwife and ask her if she wanted me to keep the clot for her to check @mummyof5

I had one like that, I called the midwife and she came out just to check it was just blood, just ring up, probably nothing to worry about might have just dislodged whilst you moved around @mummyof5 xxx
